OTA Academic Field Work Coordinator
The academic fieldwork coordinator is responsible for the program's compliance with the fieldwork requirements of Standards Section C.1.0 in adherence of ACOTE. To provide leadership, management, planning and coordination in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Responsible for teaching OTA curriculum, assessing program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes, recruiting, enrolling, advising and retaining students. Faculty teaching associate degree courses not designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline. Must be a licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina as a COTA or OTR. Degree must be awarded by an institution that is accredited by a USDE – recognized regional or national accrediting body.Additional Comments
