Performs a variety of moderately complex clerical and administrative tasks requiring some independent judgment related to ensuring the successful completion of the daily operations of a university administrative unitDuties/Physical Demands:
ILR Program Associate’s primary responsibility will be assisting the ILR Program Manager with a variety of tasks including but not limited to phone/email, customer service, attending ILR classes and/or events, preparing correspondence and reporting in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and willingness to learn other software as needed to assist with database management, marketing, and registration
Processes incoming information and/or documents regarding daily operations; makes first determination as to disposition using set standards.
Serves as informational resource for staff; investigates and resolves problems and difficulties.
Assists in the enforcement of policies and procedures; serves as informational resource to staff.
Monitors and reviews projects; ensures all necessary changes are made.
Gathers and analyzes statistical information regarding department's programs and activities; produces reports.
Performs a variety of clerical tasks including answering phones, typing, and copying.
Requires nine months of coursework or training beyond high school in Business Administration and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDesired Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent time management, organization, and communication (verbal and written) skills, including ability to maintain composure under pressure; ability to communicate and work with a diverse population of learners; culturally competent; ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of unit's operations, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of computers and office applications
May require supervisory skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Formstack, InDesign, and comfortable in learning new software.Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
