The Markey Cancer Center is seeking an experienced data management specialist to facilitate the collection, integration, and utilization of data supporting a broad range of cancer research efforts. The position is responsible for analyzing data procurement workflows and implementing optimal methods to ensure accurate and timely capture of data that will be integrated into Markey’s Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC). Duties include developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CRDC processes as well as the collection and management of annotations for biospecimens. Activities will include performing data quality assurance audits and reviews. The position may also assist in the data management activities in support of clinical trials and Markey’s Molecular Tumor Boards. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing biomedical data, performing data quality assurance, and SOP development. Existing knowledge of biomedical data and cancer research is also desirable.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
