Must be at a Junior or Senior standing at a Texas High School enrolled in a program of study in the Career & Technology Education (CTE) program. A combination of education, experience and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.Nature & Purpose of Position:
Provides entry-level support for a variety of departmental functions in assigned areas within Auxiliary Services.Primary Responsibilities:
Assists with planning, operations, development, and monitoring of business activities of the Re-Run store program. Coordinates, schedules, and manages donation deliveries and pickups. Helps stock and display merchandise and monitor inventory control. May assist management with special projects, research, coordinating and monitoring inventory, and various other functions. Supervisor determines work priorities, evaluates work in progress, and ensures the meeting of deadlines. Performs other related duties as assigned.Other Specifications:
Must be able to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and other University departments. Handles confidential and sensitive information as a normal course of activities. Requires a level of skill with modern office equipment, the ability to type, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy in writing, editing and all work assignments necessary. Ability to handle sensitive information, maintain confidentiality, and have problem solving skills. Attention and care is required in the performance of duties to prevent injury to self and others. Position includes standing and moving for extended periods of time and
lifting up to 25 pounds.
This is a non-benefit eligible, hourly position, working 19 hours or less per week. Must be able to work at least 15 hours per workweek, but not to exceed 19 hours. Must be 16 years of age or older.Full Time Part Time:
