Must be at a Junior or Senior standing at a Texas High School enrolled in a program of study in the Career & Technology Education (CTE) program. A combination of education, experience and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.Nature & Purpose of Position:
Provide entry-level support for a variety of departmental functions in assigned area within Auxiliary Services.Primary Responsibilities:
Assists with the planning, development, and digital marketing endeavors of the Auxiliary Services department. Provides digital marketing and ideas to further advance the various auxiliary areas in the Auxiliary Services department. Performs duties as assigned by supervisor. Ability and/or willingness to work with various software to create graphics using graphic design software, such as Adobe editing products (Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop), Canva, or Tableau. Drafts social media content, both visual and written. Performs other related duties as assigned.Other Specifications:
Must be able to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and other University departments. Handles confidential and sensitive information as a normal course of activities. Requires a level of skill with modern office equipment, the ability to type, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy in writing, editing and all work assignments necessary. Ability to handle sensitive information, maintain confidentiality, and have problem solving skills.
This is a non-benefit eligible, hourly position, working 19 hours or less per week. Must be able to work at least 15 hours per workweek, but not to exceed 19 hours. Must be 16 years of age or older.Full Time Part Time:
