UNT College of Music IT department provides services to the entire college to include faculty/staff and classroom technology.Position Summary:
This position provides 1st tier technical support to UNT College of Music faculty/staff and classroom technology: including computers, peripherals, printing, audio/video systems. Position will also image and deploy computers to users, assist with inventory, and perform basic Drupal website updates (text and images).Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must have fluent skills on both Mac (10.13, 10.14, iOS) and PC platforms (Win10). Must know common software such as MS Office, Parallels, web browsers, etc.
Solid, logical computer troubleshooting skills and basic understanding of networking (IPs, subnets, switch, etc.).
Must have good understanding of setting up or maintaining audio/video gear.
Must work well with a team and be “customer service” oriented
Must be punctual to a work schedule
Must be able to learn new skills quickly and retain information
Able to prioritize work according to importance
Already actively programming or involved in other aspects of computingWork Schedule:
