University of Denver is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain region, with approximately 12,000 students in the undergraduate and graduate programs. DU is classified as a Doctoral/Research University with high research activity. The Daniels College of Business is one of the largest colleges within the University, with 1,600 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. We offer a variety of majors and minors, including two bachelor degrees, five MBA degree programs and seven specialized master's degrees.

Position Summary

The Student Engagement Manager reports to the Program Director for the specified MBA Program. The Student Engagement Manager and the Program Director are the points of contact for all students in the program, and provide continuity throughout the prospect, student and alumni experience. Extensive faculty and student interface is required.

This position is responsible for providing an outstanding prospect/student/alumni experience as well as class operations and student support. This role has responsibility for the integration of all MBA student experiences, where possible. The outcome of this position should ultimately be a high sense of an engaged MBA student/alumni community.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 2 years of customer service/event planning experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience in higher education.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Ability to travel 2-4 times per year. Ability to work some weekends and evenings.

Salary Grade Number
The salary grade for the position is 8.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $57,000.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
