Advertised Job SummaryThis course is designed to teach students to safely skipper and crew on a 20- to 27-foot sailboat with a tiller and outboard engine on lakes, bays, and sheltered waters in moderate weather conditions. Theory, history, safety, and teamwork will be emphasized. It will be necessary for the instructor to demonstrate skills and techniques, provide corrective feedback, take attendance, develop quizzes and tests (both written and skill), create lesson plans, and field student questions as needed.

Qualifications:

QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor’s degree is necessary along with appropriate proficiency, knowledge and experience participating in or teaching Basic Keelboat Sailing. Must be certified by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association in CPR. R.
