    Ability to maintain confidentialityAbility to complete work and to meet deadlinesMust be able to understand instructions regarding biological and chemical safety and demonstrate familiarity with basic aspects of biochemistryAbility to work independently, accurately and solve technical and methodological issues that may arise during the course of researchExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn
Preferred Previous laboratory experience, especially with skills in cell culture, animal management and basic molecular biology (e.g. PCR, IHC, Western blot, Flow analysis). Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to: General laboratory duties, preparation of buffer solutions, maintenance of cell cultures, maintain laboratory equipment and inventory. Perform experimental procedures under direction of PI: studies of gene expression (western blotting, real-time PCR). Records all experimental findings in a laboratory notebook, and analyzes and interpret experimental findings, prepares figures and diagrams for presentations and publications. Animal inventory and ordering of laboratory supplies.
