- Assist Senior Research Specialist of the Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies in all aspects of laboratory work including but not limited to making formwork, pouring concrete specimens, and assisting in test setups.Perform maintenance of the laboratory and laboratory equipment (repairs, adjusts or replaces equipment as necessary).Clean up laboratory areas on a daily basis.Stock inventory supplies; responsible for the issuance of tools, materials, instruments and devices to students.Assist with supply orders for student research projects and stock laboratory materials.Perform other duties as needed.
- A high school diploma and at least 2 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
- Prior experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Carpentry work
Pouring concreteUse and repair of power toolsWelding
