Job Summary A Postdoctoral Fellow position in Geophysics, Oceanography and Climate or other related areas is available in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech. The successful candidate will participate in the Stochastic Ice Sheet Project.

Responsibilities This postdoctoral fellow will be investigating the patterns of climate variability in time and space that influence the Greenland Ice Sheet. They will work on development stochastic models of climate variability that can be input into a dynamic numerical model of ice sheet flow to understand the role of climate variability in the past and future evolution of the Greenland Ice Sheet. This project will involve analyzing observational and model data from regional climate models and satellite datasets.

Required Qualifications A PhD is required for this position.
