This position is on site at our Cullowhee campus.
Provide needed trade capability for the maintenance, repair of all types of roofing systems; maintenance, repair, alteration, or construction of structural building components. Additional responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and installation of facilities hardware components.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position:
Knowledge of standard procedures and practices of carpentry, masonry, roofing materials and cabinet making trades. Skilled in use of hand tools, ability to read and work from blue prints and sketches.Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years experience in commercial construction is desirable.
A valid North Carolina Driver’s License is required.Anticipated Hiring Range:
