This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from using job-related equipment; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.Shift:
Nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Job Summary:
The major job responsibilities for this position include; 1) Assisting in the development of step-by-step procedures, sterile/non-sterile compounding and distribution of investigational and study drugs, as well as performs appropriate IDS cleaning/documentation 2) Assisting in establishing and maintaining appropriate and easily retrievable recordkeeping systems for protocols, study subjects, drug inventory, manufacturing and dispensing investigational drugs. Makes accurate entries into appropriate forms and established recordkeeping systems, including automated systems. 3) Assists in establishing and maintaining standards which assure the quality, proper storage, and safe use of all investigational agents and supplies. –Prepares for audits of inventory, drug dispensing records and files by investigator or study sponsors. Temperature monitoring for room temp, refrigerators, -20 freezer, -70 freezer and any other storage unit as needed; report and act upon any excursion. -Assist in student teaching and/or shadowing. –Perform other activities deemed necessary based on workload.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
