Advanced clinical neuroscience lab studying substance abuse, utilizing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), transcranial magnetic brain stimulation (TMS), drug self-administration and learning models of choice behavior techniques, is looking for a responsible, motivated and conscientious individual to assist in performing all aspects of human research according to good clinical practices. Duties include assisting with research as follows: submitting and maintaining study protocols; recruiting and screening participants; running experimental sessions per individual study protocols; and analyzing and disseminating study results (e.g., posters, talks and publications). Additional duties include assisting with various tasks for the daily research operation as needed. Must be professional with good oral and written communication skills, detail oriented, teamwork oriented and dependable. Experience in a lab studying humans is preferred. Experience with computer programming and/or neural or behavioral modeling is preferred but will also be gained. Common software used in lab includes, but is not limited to: Matlab, SPSS, Microsoft Suite, E-Prime and Bash running on either MacOS or Windows platforms.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
