Responsibilities

Responsible for data organization, information management, and analysis related accreditation data for the college. Performs computerized data and information management, merging of databases, and cleaning of data. Attends meetings and communicates with other members of the CQI office. Coordinates with the College's Office of Information Technology to ensure technology best practices are implemented including, but not limited to coordination with the IT Security and Privacy team.

Creates and maintains database and information systems to accommodate accreditation data. Performs data and information entry and supervises students performing data entry. Assures confidentiality of data and migrates data into statistical and database software. Provides statistical and graphical analyses and reporting of data.

Promotes an atmosphere of teamwork in accomplishing the mission and goals of the COM to include participating in the delivery of services for special projects or in meeting key deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to six years.
  • Experience gathering, interpreting, organizing and reporting data.
  • Experience conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience documenting new and existing processes.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of data collection.
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint or equivalent software.Experience with the principles of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Preferred
  • Experience recommending and implementing processes, policies and procedures to streamline workflows and improve data collection systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Databases.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodology.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of methodology, principles, and practices in area of work.
  • Experience in data analytics and visualization with tools like Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Alteryx.
