Position Overview:

The Junior Gift Officer will manage a portfolio of 500+ individuals with the capacity to make a gift in amounts up to $10,000. This role will be responsible for developing strategies to meet fundraising goals through engagement with individual prospects, alumni, and friends. Collaboration with research team will be important to create a strong and continuous portfolio. The Junior Gift Officer will be comfortable reaching out to cold prospect through various forms of communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years experience in a similar role

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Physical Requirements:

Writing, Ability to communicate


Responsible for identification and meaningful cultivation and solicitation of annual giving donors, including face-to-face visits, as well as email, telephone, and mail communications.


Works with the prospect research team to identify prospects and develop strong portfolio of potential donors.


Collaborates with the stewardship team to ensure timely and appropriate donor recognition, where applicable.


Maintains accurate and timely records of all activities in donor database.
