Job Description:

4-H Enrollment and Reporting

  • Serving as the state administrator for the 4HOnline Enrollment and Event Registration system and provide statewide system support
  • Serving as a resource for IFAS Faculty and staff and county Extension office users, by phone, email, and support materials.
  • Providing support and guidance to IFAS Faculty and staff for documenting 4-H Volunteer background screenings and trainings in 4HOnline.
  • Providing 4HOnline trainings, in person and via web, to Extension/4-H faculty and staff.
  • Generating various reports and presentations based on Florida 4-H enrollment data (e.g. annual Statistical Snapshot and 4-H Facts & Impacts), including preparing and submitting the annual federal ES-237 report.
  • Interfacing with system vendor as problems/changes arise, attend training to maintain proficiency as appropriate.
  • Providing enrollment data for evaluation and accountability of 4-H educational programs with Deans, RSAs and SSAs and Specialists.
  • work with 4-H Faculty to develop or update online training modules for the 4-H Online system.
  • Working with the State Events Coordinator to manage online event registrations, including creating the event registration form, troubleshooting issues related to registrations and providing reports to the Event Coordinator.
  • providing support for the collection of 4-H membership fees
  • Informational and Educational Technology Support

  • provide ongoing guidance for Florida 4-H’s use of educational technology (advise on platforms which are in compliance with University of Florida expectations).
  • Provide training for 4-H faculty and staff on educational technology tools.
  • Support an ongoing effort to increase and improve 4-H virtual programming.
  • Volunteer and Youth Protection Background Screening Support

  • Serving as a back up for the Volunteer and Youth Protection Background Screener as needed
  • Serving as account holder for the Florida 4-H AHCA database.
  • Serving as liaison to DCF for AHCA database issues or questions.
  • Providing support to UF/IFAS Faculty with registering, accessing, and using the AHCA database for volunteer background screening.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or approved by the supervisor.

    Advertised Salary:

    $44,700 to $50,000 Commensurate with experience.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Skills in providing web-based learning and website content management. Knowledge of and/or experience with Extension/4-H Youth Development.
