Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration, in the College of Science and Technology, the Administrative Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative support services that contributes towards the efficient functioning of CST operations. Serves as the College liaison with University Human Resources for all matters pertaining to hires for CST, which includes coordination of confidential and complex administrative tasks.  Reviews and approves department payroll. Coordinates and prepares all staff, student, and graduate student hires including related payroll documents for CST. Ensures that new hires complete their onboarding paperwork and are properly set up in payroll. Serves as the College liaison to the Graduate School and International Student and Scholar Services office. Supports supervisors in candidate review, interview and selection processes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of directly related administrative experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
*Ability to monitor work and provide guidance and feedback to CST timekeepers.
*Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, along with the ability to interact well with internal and external stakeholders and all levels of administration.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*Ability to work within the HR/Payroll systems, such as Banner and Cognos.

Preferred:
*Working knowledge of automated processing systems e.g. Taleo, TUMarketplace and Concur.

This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote). The duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the hiring department.
