Essential Job Duties:

Software Licensing Management provides license asset management for campus and the Office of Information Technology which includes the administration of a large number of campus-wide academic and administrative site licenses and the NC State’s $1 million SAS Grant. Software Licensing Management also provides licensing support to campus as well as a variety of other licensing services including licensing risk assessment.
We are currently seeking a temporary part time position who can provide licensing management support to campus as well as administrative support for Software Licensing Management.
More specifically, this position will assist in all areas of software licensing management, including, but not limited to the following:
-Resolve licensing support tickets using the ServiceNow ticketing system.
-Provide customer service and support to address the software licensing needs and questions that campus users (faculty, staff and students) may have.
-Write clear and concise documentation regarding the installation and licensing processes for various software products for general campus populations.
-Provide licensing management of assigned active licensing contracts, including licensing and price negotiation, procurement and management of licensing.
-Provide support in the risk assessment and review of clickwrap agreements to ensure EULAs meet university requirements to mitigate risk.
-Provide support in the management of IT Purchase Compliance requests, a process to determine if campus IT purchases meet Federal, State and University requirements.
-Provide support in the management of the software licensing website, including the creation, maintenance and support in a WordPress environment.
