A post-doctoral position is available in the hemp production research program managed by Dr. Bob Pearce in the Plant and Soil Sciences Department, College of Agriculture Food and Environment. The successful candidate will be expected to implement an independent project to investigate seed quality, seedling vigor and field establishment of hemp. Potential areas of research could include identification of seed characteristics associated with improved germination and seedling vigor, investigation of the impacts of soil type, soil temperature and seeding depth on hemp emergence, and evaluation of potential seed treatments for improved field emergence.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
