Stanford University's Continuing Studies Program (CSP) is a premier adult learning program offering more than 600 courses, workshops, and seminars to more than 17,000 students annually. The mission of Stanford Continuing Studies is to share the rich educational resources of Stanford University with adult students living in the Bay Area and beyond.
Stanford Continuing Studies is seeking a Senior Curriculum Developer and Program Analyst. This position is 1-Year Fixed Term, 75% FTE. The SCD-PA will help provide high-level administrative leadership to help expand and streamline education offerings for Continuing Studies, including both courses and free online webinars. The SCP-PA will help lead curriculum development in a range of courses including technology, design, health and wellness, and communications. In addition, they will provide data analysis, evaluation, and instructor development support to help guide decision-making and support continuous program quality improvement. The SC-PDA will also serve as a leader, project manager and liaison in helping to manage large scale courses, new initiatives, and partnerships with University groups and others. Examples might include helping to organize free online webinars, providing project management support for website development, or working with the team at Stanford Center for Professional Development to develop CSP courses for wider online distribution. A successful candidate will have a strong background in education, a proven ability to work closely with faculty and other senior-level university leaders and administrators. They will also possess excellent writing and organizational skills as well as the ability to identify and design appealing courses and topics for a continuing studies audience.
