Campus Safety Officer - part-time
St. Norbert College a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a part-time Campus Safety Officer. The hours are every other Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
This position promotes lawful behavior and protects the welfare of the students, faculty and staff as a uniformed presence on campus. Campus Safety operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring the safety of the campus community as well as visitors, conference attendees, church members, and guests of the Kress Inn. Campus Safety Officers monitor the physical safety of campus buildings and grounds by locking and unlocking doors, patrolling and monitoring, using surveillance cameras, managing alarm/fire systems and responding to suspicious behavior, reporting to local law enforcement as appropriate. Campus Safety Officers also perform foot and vehicle patrols to monitor behavior, secure buildings and property, investigate disturbances, and maintain order during events and enforce regulations.
This position is not benefit-eligible.
