Job Summary

This position only for currently enrolled Clayton State students.

Responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Assist with events

· Excellent customer service

· Communicate effectively both written and oral

· Maintain orderly appearance of work area

· Responsibilities will include general office work, answering phones, data entry, making copies, filing, faxing, mailings (labeling, folding, stuffing, etc.), campus errands, scanning documents, and specific project work as required

· Host tables at campus events including graduation

· Assist with mass mailing including the alumni association membership renewal mailings

· Assist with prep for Alumni Board meetings

· Coordinate a major research initiative on low-profile or guarded alumni

· Any other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

Skills Required:

· Office experience preferred

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel) required

· Ability to follow oral and written instruction

· Good listening and communication skills

· Proper telephone etiquette

· Customer service oriented

· Display honesty and integrity

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to multi-task and work as a team member

· Ability to stay focused, prioritize tasks, organized, and professional in appearance

· Ability to handle confidential information

· Punctual, dependable, and adaptable

· Prefer 3.0 GPA
