Job Description Summary:

Position Responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of all mailings generated by the Admissions Office
  • Process and distribute incoming departmental mail
  • Maintain inventory of admission materials
  • Maintain inventory of admission office supplies
  • Process and generate leadership and achievement awards
  • Answer telephone and refer call, process registrations for on and off campus events
  • Assist with processing undergraduate applications, accepts, denies, and deposits
  • Serve as back-up to front desk administrative assistant when she is out of the office
  • Take registrations for on campus events
  • Assign work to student workers
  • Schedule small group of student workers
  • Train small group of student workers
  • Manage admission email and fax accounts
  • Register admission counselors for college fairs
  • Data Entry
  • Performance of above duties require you to be at work
  • Assist with other projects, administrative duties, and initiatives as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: :

  • High School diploma
  • Three years in fast-pace professional work environment

Preferred Qualifications: :

  • Five years in a fast-pace professional work environment

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, bend and stoop. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally carry office supplies and application files from the basement to the office which is located on the second floor.
