Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Infant-Toddler Early Childhood Special Education
Child Study Department
The Child Study Department at St. Joseph’s College, Long Island Campus, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Infant-Toddler Early Childhood Special Education. The faculty of the Department of Child Study believes that the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for effective teaching can best be acquired by translating theory into practice. Child Study faculty work to improve education for all learners.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should have earned a doctoral degree by June 1, 2021, and have expertise in infant-toddler early childhood special education. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise students, and provide service to the department and the broader St. Joseph’s community. The candidate will be expected to teach across several programs. Priority will be given to applicants who have an established and ongoing program of research.
