Position Summary:This position involves sorting and recording nematode soil samples that received from our clients, filling of 100cc beakers with soil, extracting plant-parasitic nematodes from samples, accurately entering nematode assay results into a database system, washing glassware, keeping the lab neat and clean, and if necessary, sterilizing glass containers in an autoclave. In addition to processing nematode diagnostic samples, incumbent would work on various research projects on the management of plant-parasitic nematodes associated with different crops. Specifically, incumbent would maintain both greenhouse and field experiments, apply treatments, and record relevant data.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:High school diploma preferred
