The faculty member will teach graduate classes in Educational Leadership, maintain scholarly activity, and provide quality service to the institution and community.
Responsibilities:
- Teach graduate courses in the Educational Leadership program
- Support research agenda of the Educational Leadership program
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education/Experience/Skills:
- Doctoral degree approved by the University and recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) appropriate to the area of Educational Leadership
- Minimum of three years' experience as a district leader at the superintendent level or higher
- Minimum five years of University-level teaching experience
- Valid Texas Educator Superintendent Certificate
- Demonstrated expertise and understanding of current TEA accountability indicators and educator standards
- Must possess the minimum credential standards of SACSCOC, which include at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the subject area or suitable approved justifications
Work Hours: Faculty Hours
Salary: Commensurate with experience
