Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Continuing Education Project Assistant, Boca Raton, FL.

Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) is seeking a Project Assistant to support the university's continuing education initiatives. The general duties for this position include assisting with the development and organization of continuing education programs and processes, contributing to efficient and accurate registration of continuing education students, providing administrative support, and other duties as assigned. Also responsible for assisting the Executive Director with the coordination of multiple Continuing Education (CE) projects/tasks.

FAU's Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) is a rapidly changing, high-paced, collaborative environment. Duties and work may change with little notice. Changes in the below duties are at the discretion of the supervisor.

Summary of Responsibilities include:

  • Provide information to the public about the universities continuing education programs.
  • Efficient and accurate registration of students.
  • Provide effective administration service for continuing education programs.
  • Provide premier customer service for troubleshooting.
  • Document and store files in a shared location.
  • Assist with file organization for continuing education.
  • Attend, take notes, and review information from meetings.
  • Assist customers with Learning Management System (LMS) inquires.
  • Provide front-end support for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Supervisor may change responsibilities, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Management, Public Administration, Public Management, Business, or related and at least one year of clerical experience required.

Demonstrated excellence in customer service.

Excellent skills in all Microsoft products.

Proficient in using pivot tables and data reporting.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Excellent research, writing and proofreading skills.

Outstanding time management skills.

Ability to quickly adapt and accurately respond to changing priorities.

Must have reliable transportation to FAU’s campuses.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of university operations.

Knowledge of business analytical tools.

Microsoft 365 certified.

Excellent use of Google Drive products.

Knowledge of the Canvas Learning Management System.

Knowledge of Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).

Continuing education coordination experience.

Knowledge of office administration and registration operations.

Salary:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
