Teacher Assistant - Child Development Center

JOB SUMMARY:The Teacher Assistant will assist the regular teacher in the supervision and care of infant, toddler and preschool-aged children in the Child Development Center Program. The teacher assistant will also help in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for infant, toddler and preschool-aged children. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Associates degree in Early Childhood, Infant & Child Development, Early Care & Learning or related field OR a High School Diploma/GED with a Child Development Associate (CDA).One (1) year experience working with children with diverse needs in a daycare center-based program.Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR credential preferred and must be obtained prior to end of probationary periodGood communication skills, flexibility and team work
