Department Summary:

The mission of the Division of Student & Academic Affairs is to create solutions for a healthier community by fostering student success. There are 12 functional units within the Division of Student & Academic Affairs: Office of Student Development, Career Center, Center for Academic Performance, Office of Care and Civility, Registrar, Financial Aid, Testing and Evaluation Services, International Services, Admissions & Recruitment, Office of University Assessment & Accreditation, Office of Disability Access and Title IX.

Position Overview:

The Office of Recruitment provides leadership and administrative oversight for campus-wide recruitment as well as providing staff support to the events team. This requires excellent customer service and tha ability to speak to both small and large groups of people from a diverse background. This position will not only work with internal and external actors to develop and manage Pipeline/Early Assurance Program/ Pathways programs, but will work with potential students for those programs and assist them in navigating the application process.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related professional field and three (3) years of related experience. A combination of education and relevant experience may be substitute for the educational requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years of related experience, events management experience.
  • Previous experience in higher education and working with underrepresented populations.
  • Excellent detail oriented individual
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent scheduling and event coordinating abilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent technology skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Work Schedule:

M-F, 8am to 5 pm, Some evenings and some Saturdays may be required. Some overnight travel may be required.

Work closely with the Director of Recruitment, Deans, Associate Deans and colleges in the identification and implementation of strategic recruitment initiatives for Pathways programs, Early Assurance and 3+4 programs.


Manage the Pipeline/Early Assurance Program/ Pathways budget.


Participate and assist in the development of MOUs for HSC.


Lead the EAP/Pathways/3+4 program taskforce.


Actively participate and supervise recruitment activities and other engagement programming that drive desired and measurable outcomes.


Maintain, and provide updates for events, fairs and provide recruitment reports in a timely manner.


Work with Marketing to ensure that brochures and content for community engagement programs are readily available on request and sent out to prospective students.


Work with the events team to assist in the coordination of summer or on campus programming.


Other duties as assigned.
