Temporary Assistant - Information Technology (West Bend campus)
Assist Moraine Park’s computer technical support staff with hardware and software upgrades. Be willing to unbox and install equipment; accurately update hardware and software inventory databases; follow the asset disposal process for equipment being removed from service; apply images to computers and follow documentation to install and/or configure software installed on lab computers. Perform field visits to MorainePark users. Use the Internet to research problems and the solutions.Qualifications Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects effectively and work independently. Must take direction from others and work well in a team environment. Must act in a professional manner. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted with or without reasonable accommodation. Must have taken or currently be enrolled in the Computer Hardware/Software Support courses (154-117 & 154-116). Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.
