Position Summary::Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Trainer and Certified Logistics Trainer who will develop and deliver training in support of manufacturing and logistics programs and employers. The Advanced Manufacturing Trainer and Logistics Trainer will lead the instruction team for MSSC Certified Production Technician, Logistics Technician and teach various courses in measurement, safety, quality, processes, and maintenance. The Advanced Manufacturing Trainer and Logistics Trainer will serve alongside with the Account Managers as a subject matter expert to industries in building training programs and solutions.
Staff Required Education/Experience::Bachelor’s degree in field related to area of assignment and four (4) years of progressive responsibility in area of assignment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Desired Education/Experience/Skills::- Minimum of 15 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in the areas of Manufacturing Safety, Quality Processes, Manufacturing Processes, and Maintenance Awareness.
Hands on experience with measurement tools, applied mathematics, and manufacturing work processes.
Department::Account Manager, Business Services - Con Ed
Work Hours::Monday through Friday ( 8:00am to 5:00pm )and weekends and evenings as needed.

Duty and Responsibility::CPT instruction at various locations and times depending on class scheduling.
Duty and Responsibility::Lead the NCMI Instructor Team
Duty and Responsibility::Support all functions as assigned to the North Carolina Manufacturing Institute.
Duty and Responsibility::Maintain completed and accurate record keeping required of any continuing education class.
Duty and Responsibility::Collaborate and partnering with all Account Managers on the Business Services Team for various industry projects.
Duty and Responsibility::Engage in marketing and recruitment of both CPT students, CLT students and NCMI partners
Duty and Responsibility::Instruct other industry type training as necessary upon request pending CPT and CLT schedule and subject matter knowledge.
