Advertised Job Summary:This position is to serve as the Web Communications/Creative Services Manager for the College of Social Work. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for producing video, digital and print media; communications and creative services; videography; photography; web services.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2 years experience in radio or TV programming, production or engineering; or high school diploma and 6 years experience in radio or TV programming, production or engineering.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Moderate to advanced knowledge of and skilled in graphic design, both print and digital media, social media, website design and updating, photography, videography and video editing. Basic to moderately complex website coding. Advanced knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and BBIS. Provide assistance to individual customers and smaller groups. Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal with customers, peers, and management.
