Provides administrative support to include scheduling and time management for the Vice President of Campus Services.
Partner with the Director of Staff Development to create comprehensive standard operating procedures regarding recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, corrective action and other human resource related procedures required for a high functioning environment.
Assist in the identification of best practices in staffing in development for integration and adoption in F&CS.
Maintain records for departmental training, audit, and performance management needs.
Assist in the preparation of correspondence, proposals, charts, and confidential reports as needed.
Makes all travel arrangements, requests for reimbursement, and credit card reconciliation for leadership team members.
Places, answers, screens and directs telephone calls, providing information or referral as required.
Makes room reservations and arrangements for catering needs for departmental meetings/events.
Experience working and communicating with those who are subtly or obviously different than self.
Assists with departmental/campus events as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
High School diploma with three years of related experience.
General knowledge of office management techniques and responsibilities.
Ability to collaborate with a wide range of constituencies to accomplish office and departmental goals.
Excellent proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, Access, the Internet, and other relevant software.
Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to change and commit to continuous learning and improvement.
Proficiency in the operation of standard office equipment.
Ability to manage and maintain confidentiality of data and information.
Excellent communication skills, in written and verbal forms and ability to adapt communication styles to the needs of others.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to research, gather, and analyze data; compile information; and prepare reports.
Accuracy and attention to detail, must possess excellent keyboarding, writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
Ability to organize workflow, direct multiple tasks, coordinate multiple activities, and meet deadlines in a team oriented environment.
Knowledge of budget management; general accounting skills.
Ability to resolve office management problems and questions.
Ability to update skills on a continual basis.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Some college level business related courses.
Progressively more responsible secretarial/administrative/office management experience or equivalency preferred.
Background in a facilities environment.
Certified Notary Public.
