This position is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The RMA/CMA/LPN is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The RMA/CMA /LPN is under the overall on-site supervision of the Cardiology Supervisor.
This position will be a part of the Cardiology Clinic.
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
May carry items including medical records and medical supplies weighing less than 25 pounds for short distances. Ability to walk, hear, see, talk, lift, kneel, bend with or without reasonable accommodations.

-Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:- Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting. - Certification or Vocational/Technical education- Six (6) months of clinical experience required unless internship completed in the OSU clinic system.- Valid Oklahoma Driver License Required;- Current CPR certification required.
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. Excellent customerservice skills and good communication skills. Ability to multi-task whileproviding good patient care. Good computer skills and ability to learn newcomputer systems as needed. Primary skills include verbal and writtencommunication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as wellas daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reportsfor use by clinic staff during patient care activities.
Preferred:-Bilingual translation skills a plus.-Experience with Epic
