Job Summary:

This position will assist Enrollment Services staff with various office tasks that include but not limited to scanning, linking, filing, mailings and preparation for commencement ceremony. Provide quality customer service including the ability to assist with scheduling appointments. Assistance with desk coverage may be necessary.

Jennifer Adams and Christina Rigdon

Education/Qualifications:

•Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
•Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
•Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•Understanding of FERPA
•Basic filing knowledge such as alphabetizing and ensuring accuracy
•Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
•Maintaining confidentiality regarding student files and personal information
•Basic functions of Enrollment Services offices
•Attention to details
•Ability to work well with staff
•Excellent customer service
•Ability to work a multiline phone

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Office environment with limited lifting up to 10 lbs

Responsibility/Duty:

•Maintain and file student files to ensure information is organized and up to date.
•Assist with student events such orientation, and high school visits
•Making appointments
•Assist with scanning in ImageNow software
•Answering phones and front desk coverage
•Assisting walk-in traffic
•Assisting staff where needed
•Duties including, but not limited to assisting with miscellaneous projects, creating packets, binding manuals, etc
