Mailroom Clerk (PT)
Part-time Support Staff
Sugar Grove Campus
The Mailroom Clerk shall provide mailroomsupport for all college campuses. Thisposition is located at the Sugar Grove campus and reports to the Purchasing Manager.
Sort all incoming United States Postal Service and interoffice mail into designated building mail bin and/or mailboxes daily.
Prepare and manage all outgoing mail including metered mail, bulk mailings and special projects.
Stay current with United States Postal Service rules and regulations.
Prepare and manage all outgoing shipments with special carriers (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Maintain mailroom including postage meter, mailroom equipment and procedures manual.
Track postage charges by various college departments and grants.
Other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year customer service experience preferred.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Good math and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word.
