Position Summary:The Statewide eLearning Coordinator serves as the lead for eLearning activities coordinated with the Program Office, the 10 Regional AHECs and key stakeholders in North Carolina. Through coordination of this work, NC AHEC will continue to expand statewide efforts to use eLearning technology in support of CPD, Practice Support, Health Careers, and other service lines. This position will report to the Director of Operations and will interface with all levels of Program Office staff, Regional AHECs and key stakeholders. Regional AHEC resources supporting eLearning will include an eLearning Manager at each location, eLearning course development resources, and audio/videography support.
Educational Requirements:Master’s and 1-2 years’ experience or Bachelor’s and 2-4 years’ experience or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution
Qualifications and Experience:At least five to eight years of experience in eLearning technology and project management to include:
-Strategic planning of eLearning goals
-Strong skills in managing multiple eLearning platforms including LMS environments like Docebo and Sakai as well as web conferencing platforms like Zoom, WebEx, and Blue Jeans
-Experience reviewing available learning solution options and selecting appropriate learning technology and toolsets
-Strong eLearning program development background including curriculum design, experience creating visually interactive programs that appeal to a wide range of learners, and experience supervising content creation using eLearning authoring tools
-Demonstrated experience in organizing and producing live streaming program formats as well as recorded collateral for use with asynchronous programming
-Experienced interfacing with IT staffs for system support and access to hosted services
-Knowledge of information management including hands-on experience using different online systems and associated reporting tools, in collaboration with NC AHEC IT.
-Supporting regions in assessing staff knowledge and skills to understand how to best train and re-skill existing staff
-Planning and delivering staff training
-Results-oriented person with the ability to lead project teams, assign tasks, and drive on-time project completion
