Salary Information:$10.50 per hour
Job Summary:Membership Lead is expected to provide leadership in areas of member services, character development, and mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion.
Membership Lead assists Membership Coordinator with overall membership system daily operation; including sales, prospecting, data entry, billing, communication, records keeping, troubleshooting, membership tour training, membership systems, membership terminations, financial assistance, accounts receivable processes.
Support the mission of Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness by staffing the membership desk.
Provide leadership in areas of selling and closing accounts within established goals.
Ensure completion of all prospecting tasks that include scheduling/confirming/monitoring outcomes of appointments, timeliness of prospecting activities, managing prospecting resources spreadsheets, recording/monitoring outcomes of all prospecting communications/appointments.
Provide assistance in holding membership staff accountable to operational standards.
Assist with managing membership system spreadsheets and reports.
Take responsibility for keeping membership center and lobby clean and organized.
Conduct and manage accounts receivable collections and membership termination processes.
Perform tasks specific to financial aid; including scheduling appointments, reviewing applications, and meeting with members and entering financial aid memberships.
Conduct membership staff training in areas specific to new associate onboarding, prospecting, membership tours, accounts receivable and other membership systems.
Provide ongoing review of membership associates’ readiness and development specific to membership operations.
Communicate with professional staff on issues related to staff concerns.
Conduct daily membership operations as per standards outlined in the new associate training manual.
Attend community functions and events to promote the Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness, its mission and programs.
Required Qualifications:Highly organized, detail, and goal oriented.
Ability to make independent and sound decisions in a fast paced environment.
Ability to reflect a positive attitude and teamwork.
Knowledge of current software applications.
Status of a Tour Leader and experience in coaching other associates to reach the Tour Leader status.
Completed Membership Associate Onboarding Training.
Completed Term Management and Prospecting Trainings.
Must demonstrate a proven record of success with Tours-Joins-Fitness Consultation enrollment, prospecting, term management, financial assistance management, accounts receivable.
Must demonstrate fluency in managing operational systems and reports within membership department.
