Job Summary:

You must be a current UK student to apply to this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with the university.

Join a fast-paced, culture driven work environment for the largest swim school franchise worldwide. Team Members may work in both of the following roles: Front Desk Associate and Water Safety Instructor.

Front Desk Associate Responsibilities:

  • Uphold excellent customer service by communicating effectively with potential and existing customers while building relationships with the families
  • Provide information about our facility, swim program, mission and core values
  • Become comfortable navigating our Point-of-Sale and CRM platforms
  • Ensure facility safety and cleanliness
  • Work alongside GM and/or OM to handle customer complaints gracefully by using customer-focused principles in every customer interaction
  • Attend monthly in-service trainings

Water Safety Instructor Responsibilities:
  • Learn and maintain Aqua-Tots curriculum standards and lesson quality
  • Effectively communicate with parents pertaining to student progression
  • Check pool chemicals and ensure safe water quality
  • Makes safety the #1 priority when teaching or deck supervising
  • Appropriately receive and apply regular feedback through assessments
  • Attend monthly in-service trainings

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must love people and support our company mission of drowning prevention in the community
  • Minimum of 16 years of age with at least High School Education
