Butler University seeks four (4) Athletic Trainers for 2021-2022 academic year to provide comprehensive health care for student-athletes in its intercollegiate athletic programs. These positions are responsible for adherence to the university mission and to ensure that Butler University Sports Medicine policies and procedures are followed. The Intern Athletic Trainers must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and have taken the NATABOC exam by July 31, 2021 to be considered. The candidates must be certified through NATABOC and licensed by the State of Indiana by August 1, 2021. Each position will have a primary assignment that may require travel and assist with pre-season football coverage. The assignments are as follows:

1. Football assistance
2. Softball/limited football
3. Women’s Lacrosse/limited football
4. Women’s Swimming/full football

Additional responsibilities will include assisting in coverage of the Butler University Sports Medicine Center and other duties as assigned. This position will pay an hourly wage based on a 29-hour work week, up to a 12 month total of $18,000.
