This position plays a meaningful role in the Coordinating Center for the NIH funded DIAGNOSE CTE Research Project a 7-year, multi-site research project to develop methods of diagnosing Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) during life and to examine potential risk factors for this degenerative brain disease. The current and the new Clinical Research Assistant will coordinate and conduct all remote follow-up visits for the DIAGNOSE CTE Research Project. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to design new 'remote' follow-up evaluations to be conducted centrally through Boston University (prior, there were 3 other study sites and site coordinators), so there is a large increase in the number of participants Boston University needs to conduct evaluations on.
