The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) is seeking applicants for a part-time (16 hours/week), lecturer faculty position in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy (DOCP).  The school is nationally recognized for its leadership in pharmacy education, clinical practice, and its strong commitment to developing and sustaining a diverse faculty, staff and student body.  The Department of Clinical Pharmacy provides career opportunities for individuals with a strong commitment to an academic career encompassing innovative educational, service and scholarly activities.

This part-time (two days/week) faculty position has the responsibility to practice as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the Seniors Clinic on the main Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado in Aurora, CO. Primary responsibilities of this position include participation in clinical pharmacy services and providing innovative patient care to an aging patient population. This faculty member will interface with interdisciplinary primary care teams to provide comprehensive medication management and transitions of care for patients who are part of the Medicare Shared Savings Program and other value-based care programs. Population health aspects of this position will be developed in collaboration with the Director of Population Health Pharmacy in the UC Health Population Health Services Organization. Medication management efforts will be focused on achieving the Quadruple AIM of improving healthcare quality, reducing healthcare cost, and improving experience for both patients and the healthcare team. The Seniors Clinic is a model site for Doctor of Pharmacy student and pharmacy resident training, and this position will participate in clinical instruction of students and residents.    

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position has been established at $45,000 - $50,000

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Minimum Qualifications:

    Applicants must have a Pharm.D. degreeBe a licensed pharmacist in Colorado. 
Preferred Qualifications:

    Preferred experience includes advanced training, preferably through a PGY2 residency in adult ambulatory care, primary care, internal medicine, pharmacotherapy, geriatrics or a similar program; Previous academic experience and board certification in an area appropriate for their training and experience (BCPS, BCACP, or BCGP).
