To improve the overall quality of food services through budget management, inventory control accountability, and analysis making recommendations regarding the food service operations. Responsible for budgeting, cost control and a comprehensive menu program for the department and oversight of all culinary training; special functions; food quality; safety, sanitation and supervision of the culinary staff. Reports to Senior Director, Dining or designated supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Associate's degree in culinary arts and a minimum of seven years of management experience in a commercial or university food service operation including two years of experience managing multi-units.  Must be able to work nontraditional hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

OR

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, or closed related field.  Minimum of five years of management experience in a commercial or university food service operation including two years of experience managing multi-units.  Must be able to work nontraditional hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
