Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:Ability to read and interpret documentation
Knowledge in ordering supplies and equipment
Ability to perform basic math including measurement and conversions
Ability to understand policies and procedures
Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
Skill in attention to detail
Knowledge of safety measures
Skill in proper use of equipment
Experience making signage
Knowledge of sign standards
Knowledge of Cartesian coordinate system
Experience using mathematical computations
Experience with Sign Maker software such as Adobe Illustrator, or similar software
Responsible for fabrication and maintenance of campus signage that is functional, effective, clear and easy-to-read as requested by Parking Services and Transportation Services.
Job Duties:Design and create sign using computer software
Ensure Materials are available for variety of signs
Print Signs from computer software onto vinyl lettering
Mount Signs
Design mock-ups of signs on paper for approval of sign requestor
Prepare and apply vehicle decals
Assign cost preparation
Receive work orders and discern if it is in compliance with sign standards and capacity of sign software
Perform other duties as assigned
This position will require weekend and holiday hours when necessary.
