Job Description

NOTE: Recruiting for multiple positions.

CSN is a recipient of the Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program, Title V, Part A of the Higher Education Act Grant. The Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (DHSI) Program provides grants to assist HSIs to expand educational opportunities for, and improve the attainment of, Hispanic students. These grants also enable HSIs to expand and enhance their academic offerings, program quality, and institutional stability.

Core Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and oversee the Math Aides.
  • Work with CSN's Advising to attach academic counselors to students in Title V Project.
  • Meet with Project students at milestones and refer them to existing College and external support services as needed.
  • Provide regular reporting.
  • Help implement and develop curriculum for Math Aide workshops.
  • Plan the Math Summit.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education, Leadership, Math, Social Work or a related discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preference in Social Work
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of experience supervising student workers and providing student support.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, organize, schedule, and prioritize schedules and assignments.


Starting Salary Range
  • Administrative Faculty Grade C: $58,561-$62,660
