Job ResponsibilitiesTrident Technical College's IT-Infrastructure Services department is seeking a Network Services and Security Manager (IT Manager I). This individual will provide direction and leadership for the team responsible for managing, architecting, and securing the College's converged voice, data, and video networks. TTC's enterprise network is multi-platform and operates in a state of continuous improvement.
Leading cyber security prevention and response efforts and ensures cyber security controls are in place.
Maintaining maximum on-line availability for all Trident Tech locations.
Monitoring and planning bandwidth usage, network capacity, and performance and compliance improvements.
Performing risks and vulnerability assessments.
Managing NOC/SOC functions.
Developing roadmaps and conducts yearly budget forecasting for maintenance, upgrades, and projects.
Conducting and managing procurements and vendor relationships.
Building teams and collaborate in a security-focused, projectized environment.
Staying abreast of new technologies and advises College executives.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, computer science (information technology), mathematics, statistics, management information science or a related field and two (2) years experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology. Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Cisco-based networks and security products is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to maintain a fast pace, think strategically and with situational awareness, plan long-term, communicate effectively with all levels of the campus community, is familiar with project management methodologies and cyber security principles and techniques, is knowledgeable about IP-based networks, and demonstrates an ability to communicate network and communication design principles.Additional Comments
