Job Summary

Two positions are available to assist with research in the Goulding lab (Biology). The term of employment is fifteen school weeks, from August 16 - December 6, 2021. Research Assistants will work ten hours per week, and get paid biweekly at a rate of $15/hour.

Research Assistants will be in charge of carrying out experiments on aquatic snails, including daily data collection, and weekly reporting of results. Absolute reliability, close attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required. The work involves reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English, as well as standing, sitting, and lifting and carrying loads up to fifty pounds. Hours are partially flexible, but will include 60-75 minutes of work every day, seven days a week, at roughly the same time of day.
