Shift:

Monday-Thursday with 10 hour days.

Job Summary:

The person in this position will provide patient scheduling, patient registration and exceptional customer service for patients, visitors, vendors, and the community at large accessing services at the UK Dental Clinic in (Marshall County) Benton, KY.

The successful candidate occasionally provide 4 handed dental assisting.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Strongly prefer excellent computer skills and previous reception or front-desk experience in a dental or medical office working with adults, children, and special needs patients; attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work in a busy environments; excellent customer service to all internal and external customers; and computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :

No

Preferred Education/Experience:

Prefer candidate with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, billing procedures, and knowledge of electronic clinical patent management software systems; proven experience working with internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner; Medical/Dental Office & dental assisting experience preferred.
