This Glascock County Extension position is a regular (non-temporary) non-exempt professional staff role within UGA Cooperative Extension responsible for handling the many resources offered by the Extension office. A level of independent judgment is necessary to effectively carry out the duties of the job and the incumbent is expected to manage administrative duties by developing techniques and procedures as appropriate. This role works cooperatively with all Extension faculty and staff where applicable and is administratively responsible to the County Extension Coordinator.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, Outlook a plus.
Quickbooks knowledge is a great plus- but not a requirement as UGA has excellent training for these important programs.
Also, some knowledge of 4-H programs and Ag-related information.Physical Demands:
Light office lifting, some 4-H project lifting
**May be asked to assist with livestock projects.

Greet clientele in office or by phone while also operating a variety of office equipment such as a computer, fax machine, scanner, typewriter, copier, and telephone.Percentage of time:
Responsible for maintaining records for fiscal reporting. Maintaining the office filing system in a manner that corresponds with the standard for all Extension offices. Coordinates a variety of office tasks with county staff. Maintains office inventory of publication, office supplies and materials as needed. Receives and submits various types of samples for clientele.Percentage of time:
